Lake Anna Information

Formed in 1972 by building a ninety-foot dam on the North Anna River, Lake Anna is more than 13,000 acres in size and seventeen miles long.
Shoreline totaling more than 200 miles surrounds both the private and public sides of the lake. The lake acts as a cooling system for the
Dominion Power's North Anna Power Station. With an ever-increasing number of full-time residents and a growing reputation as a popular
travel destination, the Lake Anna community is thriving.
